Michigan Medicine Timekeeper Update: Sept 24, 2020

Biweekly Pay Audit Report (Updated)
Improvements have been made to the Biweekly Pay Audit Report. This report runs after every biweekly payroll and is sent to departments for review and to make necessary corrections. The report shows variances between what was reported and what got paid. There are many complexities to consider for this comparison. One example is that there are several time reporting codes that map to multiple earnings codes, based on an employees workgroup.

Two issues that have already been identified since the report was sent out this week and can be ignored are:

  1. HOL on reported time is showing up incorrectly as HSB (already fixed)
  2. HWT hours are not being pulled in on reported time for nurses (fix in progress)

Updated Static/Dynamic Group and Schedule Request Form
This form has been reformatted for ease of use. At the bottom of the form is a submit button that will automatically attach it to an email set up to go to the payroll fax mailbox.

In addition, the payroll team can now assist with the creation of dynamic groups if that works better for you in comparison to the familiar static groups.

A dynamic group can be set up with criteria that will auto refresh its members on a nightly basis. Check it out and let us know what you think.
