Increasing Overuse of PTO

There has been an uptick in overuse of PTO hours (overpayments). As a reminder, if an employee does not have enough PTO to cover their time off, no pay must be reported instead (ETW-excused time without pay) or (UET-unexcused time without pay).

The October PTO accrual was loaded effective 9/18/22 for biweekly paid employees because the first of October is the last day of the biweekly pay period 9/18-10/1. This is a full two weeks early. Please be mindful of this and do not overreport employee time.

Leave balances are displayed on the Enter Time page and can be easily reviewed prior to approving or reporting time. Please remind employees and supervisors of this information and ask them to keep track of their balances and not overreport the time.

Thank you for your help and attention to this matter!
