Missing Time Report - Now Includes Biweekly Paid Nurses

Biweekly-paid nurses are required to report their time up to the standard hours they are appointed to work. Even though they are positive pay and only get paid the time that is reported, their standard hours must be accounted for, including reporting No Pay (ETW, UET, VET, etc.), when applicable.

Staffing Incentive Time Reporting Reminder

When paying the staffing incentives be sure to report the worked hours as you normally would, then add the “H” code that will make the pay what you need it to be (e.g., 2.0 or 3.0)

For example: If the hours worked are over appointment but not yet over 40 worked hours in the week you must report those hours using the OTR (worked hours over appointment) code then add HBR (1.0) to pay at the 2.0 rate.

If OTP is reported before the employee has worked 40 hours it will show up on our Overtime Liability Audit Report which then requires us to contact the department and ask for a correction to be made.

Payroll Audits Reminder

When replying to emails with questions about audit reports received from the payroll team, please attach the spreadsheet to the email. The payroll analysts do not receive a copy, so they need to see your copy in order to respond.
