UMPNC – 2025 RN Temp to Per Diem Process Schedule
UMPNC (Bargained for Nurses Contract) - Article 20-A; 185R.; 7)
Unit-based temporary RN’s who work four hundred (400) hours in a calendar year will be classified as Per Diem employees.
Exempt Monthly Paid Time Reporting – No Variance
The No Variance (NOV) time reporting code is used by monthly employees who have no exceptions to report in a month. Reporting and approving the NOV code confirms the employee is to be paid their monthly base salary and there are no exceptions to their normal schedule of work (i.e., PTO, Holiday, shift premium, extended sick, etc.).
Reporting and approving NOV also prevents an employee’s timesheet from showing up on the Missing Time Report notifications that are sent out after every payroll.
