UPAMM access to self-service timesheet issue
Late in the day on August 9th, 2021 it was reported that UPAMM bargained-for employees weren't able to access their self-service timesheet, coinciding with the move to their new job titles. The issue was investigated and resolved on 8/10/21. Since the Biweekly payroll was running on 8/10/21 no monthly paid employees could access their timesheet that day. Everyone was able to access it the following day.

Timekeeper Tip: Pay rates for monthly staff
Monthly-paid employees are paid a monthly salary based on their annual salary divided by 12. However, an hourly pay rate for monthly employees is displayed on employee paychecks when exception time is reported. Here’s how that rate is calculated by the system:
8 x FTE = Prorated hours/day
Number of business days in a month x prorated hours/day
Monthly salary / above number
Example for full-time (1.0 FTE) employee for the month of June (image above):
8 x 1.0 FTE = 8
22 x 8 = 176
6348.30 / 176 = $36.069885 hourly rate
