At the second bargaining session, the teams devoted their time to reviewing and discussing their proposals.
As each team presented their proposals, they provided context and the rationale behind each proposal, and also answered questions to build understanding about the proposal content and reasons for bringing them forward.
They verbally agreed to some proposals, including deleting outdated language in the contract and conducting joint presentations of the contract after negotiations are completed.
The meeting concluded with agreement on the agenda and discussion topics for next week, which will include HOA proposals on vacations, work hours and schedule, and preventative care, as well as University proposals concerning the contract’s non-discrimination clause and the labor-management committee.
