This week, UMPNC provided their initial counterproposals and additional proposals to Michigan Medicine. These included proposals for salary increases and cost of living adjustments, changes to benefits contributions levels, overtime pay structure, and protocols for grievances and arbitration.
The Michigan Medicine bargaining team will review the proposals MNA/UMPNC has provided and will continue to work to develop options that are mutually beneficial, will support safe patient care, and are financially sustainable. Michigan Medicine continues to prioritize how to best support our nursing community and our entire work force.
